If you are interested in setting up a business along with having residency in Seychelles, you must apply for the Gainful Occupation Permit. You can add spouses or children onto the application and as part of the process, you must include financial information to prove that you will add to the economy in Seychelles. 

The restrictions for foreigners establishing a company in Seychelles do not concern ownership but instead, relate to the scope of activity. First, all Seychelles IBCs cannot conduct business inside Seychelles or own property. Offshore companies in Seychelles are also not eligible to carry out financial activities. The final restriction is that no corporations can issue bearer shares and that applies to both domestic and foreign-owned enterprises. 

There are no corporate taxes on profits, income or duties as long as every partner in the corporate entity is a foreigner and you earn all profits outside Seychelles territory. All of these exemptions will remain valid for 20 years after company formation.
